Yup, I think curiosity is fundamental for growth and for getting better. People who don't have a good in-built sense of wonder and curiosity, often just end up floundering through life. :)

I really appreciated the emphasis on curiosity and lifelong learning in this post. It's so easy to get stuck in a rut and assume we've reached our limits, but the idea of a renaissance man (or woman) being someone who continues to explore and discover new things is really inspiring. I've already started thinking about what new skills I want to learn and how I can incorporate more curiosity into my daily life.

Eating below your BMR is unsustainable. While yes, you will lose weight, in the long run it will hurt you. Studies show that people who go on a too aggressive diet, usually end up gaining the weight back up. Most people will feel lethargic, tired, and constantly hungry, with the body also not having the energy in order to do much in the gym. Hence, most people will just give up and go back to their old habits. Losing weight should be done in a sustainable way.
