complain gain weight

As humans we all like to complain. We all have problems and we like to complain about them. Not sure why complaining is so popular, but at times I guess it lets people vent off steam and so bring them back to a more normal state.

Yet complaining all the time can also be counterproductive. We all know those people who complain all the time, yet do nothing about improving their situation. You tell them: “Well, you have this and that problem, but you could do this and that in order to solve that problem.”

This advice seems to fall on deaf ears. They go on complaining and doing nothing about it. On the other hand, there are those people, who have the same problem, yet they are pro-active and start doing things in order to solve those problems.

Do you find yourself complaining a lot about different problems? Try to think about what things you complain about and why you complain about them.

Complaining is a negative attitude. Instead of being negative all the time, try to do the opposite thing and be positive. Instead of thinking of everything that is going wrong, try think of ways it can go right. How can you turn it around? What can you do to improve the situation? Don’t come with problems, but instead come with solutions.

If you have a problem, then you need to do something about it. Think of ways that you can improve. What types of steps can you take to solve the problem?

There are different steps that you can take in order to turn from a serial complainer to a serial improver.

1) Identify the problem

2) Think of reasons of why you have that problem

3) Think of ways that you can solve the problem

4) Set some goals and a course of action

5) Execute and keep on executing


This is all of course easier said than done. Yet it is something essential for any person to do if they want to be happy in life. You cannot go on complaining in life. You need to take life in your own hands and try to fight the obstacles that come in your way.

Unfortunately we are not all born with silver spoons in our mouths and so there are many things that are wrong with our lives. Some of these are caused by outside forces, but you need to be able to take responsibility and take matters into your own hands. You need to change what can be changed.

If you are a skinny dude, then gain some weight. If you are a fat guy, then stop downing those Big Macs and instead head into the gym and start lifting weights and doing cardio. There are always things that you can do that can improve your lot in life. You just need to do them. 🙂

Take responsibility for your own reality! If you don’t, no one else will.
